The following modifications and safety guidelines have been put in place not to cause fear but to encourage peace of mind on what to expect on our Sunday mornings together for the foreseeable future.


  • In-Person Service - Starting May 24, we resumed our in-person worship services at Christ Presbyterian Church at 10:45 am. These worship services will be modified with enhances safety measures in light of COVID-19.

  • Live-Streamed Service - We will continue to offer online worship services at 10:45 am streamed on our public Facebook page. For more information, visit our Sermon Livestream Page.

  • Recorded Services - We will continue to record audio and video recordings of our sermons as well as YouTube recordings of our worship services. Please visit our Sermons page to find this week's sermon recordings as well as an archive of past sermon recordings.

Worship Service Modifications

  1. Seating - Please sit with other members of your household, whether family member(s) or roommate(s).

  2. Greeters - At this time, there will be no formal greeters at the doors nor will printed bulletins be available.

  3. Ushers - Ushers will not be passing out communion or offertory plates at this time.

  4. Communion- We will not observe communion on the first Sunday in June. We will observe communion in July, with modifications announced at a later date.

  5. Offering - The ushers will not be passing offering plates at this time. There will be designated stations to place tithes and offerings in the sanctuary. You may continue to give online, or by setting up an online bill pay through your bank, or by sending a check directly in the mail to CPC. For more information, please visit the CPC Giving page.

  6. Recording Equipment - All audio and visual equipment for streaming and recording our worship service will now be located in the A/V Booth. Please be aware of the placement of the camera while you moving about in that area of the sanctuary.

Safety Guidelines

  1. Sick Policy -  We urge you to stay home and worship with us online if you are experiencing: a cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, a fever, a new loss of smell or taste, a cold, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, sore throat, or muscle pain. Please consider staying home if you are feeling ill, have interacted with someone who is sick, or have been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

  2. CPC Families at Higher Risk - Adults over the age of 65 and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. If you or a member of your household are at higher risk, we encourage you to consider staying home and join us online for our worship service.

  3. Face Masks - We encourage everyone to wear a face mask while in the building. If you do not have a face mask, we will be able to provide you with one. Please note that the worship team and speakers will not be wearing a mask only while they are on the platform.

  4. Close Contact - Please refrain from hugging, shaking hands, or standing in close proximity to other churchgoers during this time. We understand that you may feel comfortable doing so, but the person you are interacting with may not. In an abundance of caution, we encourage you to refrain from close contact with individuals outside of your household at this time.


  • Our Sunday School classes will be taking a break from May 24 through August 2, as previously stated. This break allows our Sunday School teachers a much deserved sabbath from teaching during the summer months.

  • Lord willing, we will resume Sunday School classes from 9:30 - 10:30 am at CPC in August. For more information about our classesvisit our Sunday School page.


  • Printed bulletins will be not be available at our in-person services for the next few weeks. Please print a copy in advance or download a copy onto your phone.

  • Online bulletins will be available for download on Saturdays on our Bulletin page.


  • Children's Church will not be offered until further notice.


  • Our nursery, toddler rooms, and Sunday School classrooms will be closed until further notice. There will be no childcare provided at this time.

  • Your children are welcome to sit with you in our worship services. If you would prefer, please continue to join us for our worship service online live-streamed on Facebook.


  • The Hospitality Room will be closed until further notice. As such, we will temporarily suspend serving coffee and pastries until the room is re-opened.


  • Please continue to use the CPC Library or Infant Nursery for changing diapers and/or to feed your child as needed.

  • Please exercise great care in cleaning after use. For any questions, please see a church staff member, deacon, or elder.


  • At this time, our library loan program is temporarily suspended until further notice.

  • Please return any outstanding books but refrain from checking out any new books at this time.


  • Use of the church property for church events and meetings and non-church sponsored events will be reviewed by the CPC Session on a case-by-case basis. Currently, all events and meetings are meeting online and the church is only open to the public during our worship service on Sunday mornings.


  • The CPC Playground is closed until further notice.


  • We continue to have a professional cleaning services company contracted to clean the church every other week. Our deacon, Asa Stone, and his wife clean the church on the alternating weeks. The cleaning company is using a special disinfectant product to help keep our facilities clean.
