Children's Education Ministry
CPC Education Team is here to equip families as they do the work of Christian Education. The work our team does is in compliment to the foundational work that God has given each family (and our covenant family) to do in teaching the gospel to the next generation so that they are grounded in the Covenant of Grace and grow with a Biblical world view, ready to live out the Covenant in a community of believers. We are here to support and equip our church families and cannot do this work apart from them.

Growing in the Word
"The Law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart. The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever, the rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they thatn gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the drippings of th honeycomb. The Education Team is working to encourage and equip all generations of our CPC body in the growth and knowledge of God, his love for us, and our response to his love in mature kingdom living. We are covenant-focused, knowing that we are charged to teach the next generations, that they might know the glorious deeds of the Lord, and set their hope in him (Psalm 78). The focus of the education team is:

Providing age-appropriate instruction, fellowship, and mentorship in a variety of Sunday School Classes, beginning with toddlers and extending through High School on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM.

Equipping families to continue teaching the next generation in their homes through resources and training, including parenting seminars and the “Family Resource” shelves in the Sunday School hallway in the main building at CPC.

*could be adapted as a response journal for family devotions, scripture memory, etc.
This curriculum approaches discipleship by using all of scripture to teach the character of God and his covenant of Grace, the character of Jesus, the Mediator of the covenant, and teaches our obedience as a privilege of living in a covenantal relationship with God.
